Think Spring Blog Hop

Welcome to Croppin Momma Designs and the Think Spring Blog Hop! If you’ve never enjoyed a blog hop before, it’s where you ‘hop’ between blogs following a chain of links, with each blog in the chain posting something exciting for the event!

If you've come from visiting Toni at Happy Scrapper, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to Kathryn at Creations with Kathryn and start at the beginning.

With so many of us getting bad weather and a ton of snow it is hard to imagine that Winter will ever be over. But, with Punxsutawney Phil seeing his shadow there is a sliver of hope that Spring will eventually come, and may even be earlier than we thought. However, if you just can’t wait another 6 weeks then I hope that I can bring a little of that Spring feeling to you now.

Recipe:
Playtime for Little Girl (4")
Doodlecharms for Flower (3.5")
Birthday Bash Font for Title and Shadow (1.5")
Plantin Schoolbook for Frames (6.25"x4.25", 6.5"x4.5")
New Martha Stewart Scallop Heart Border Punch
Martha Stewart Glitter Glue
Patterned Paper is DCWV Ultimate Stack (Spring)
Cardstock is Bazzill Basics
Hope that you liked my little piece of Spring. And if you did, leave a comment and follow me and I will pick one of those lovely comments Wednesday the 9th and that person will receive a $15 gift certificate to their favorite little spot (store) on the web. As long as they do online gift certificates I will get you one.

Next stop... Sarah at Scrapping with Sarah. Go see what she has in store for you today.

Beep Boop Beep Bop

So, on Saturday my son had his first big birthday party for his best friend at school. It was at a Bounce House place here in Michigan, so much fun!! A lot of his little buddies from school were going to be there and he was super excited!

When I asked his best friend what he wanted for his birthday he said that he wanted a Star Wars Lego set. So, since that is exactly what we got him I decided that I just had to make him a Star Wars card. Well, of course we all know that there is no Star Wars cartridge out....yet!?! So, I went to work and put together shapes and details from a couple of different cartridges. Here is how it turned out...

What do you think? Do you like it?

Well, if you said yes, than you're in luck, because I have the Gypsy cut file for you right...HERE. You need the Plantin Schoolbook and the Cricut Classic Font cartridges...if you don't have them then you can substitute for another cartridge with basic shapes, like George or Accent Essentials. Go on ahead and download it and see how you like it. Also, if there is anything else that you might want to see then please leave a comment or if you think that there is something that could have been done better or differently please let me know. I hope that you enjoy and if you create it I would love to see your version!
