Cooking with Cricut DT Project - Spring Flowers

Here is a card that I made for my grandma for her birthday. She was a very young 77 years old yesterday!

Now, this card is not my own designs. I mean I picked out all the details of it, but the concept was someone elses. And...I had it all saved and everything and have no idea where it went. So PLEASE if you recognize this card as your own layout or know whose it is let me know. I really want to give credit where credit is due and am beating myself up about not being able to!

Recipe
Flower: Simply Charmed
Flower Face: Peachy Keen Face Stamps
Inside and Outside Sentiment: My Craft Spot Inside and Outside Stamp Sets
Patterned Paper: DCWV
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics
Ribbon: Michaels $1 Bin
Inside Border: Martha Stewart Punch

Now, head on over to Cooking with Cricut and join the fun. I would love to see what you come up with.

Also, remember that starting in May I will only be posting on my new blog Bushels and Bushels! So please go over and follow me there so that you don't miss out on anything.

Think Spring Blog Hop

Welcome to Croppin Momma Designs and the Think Spring Blog Hop! If you’ve never enjoyed a blog hop before, it’s where you ‘hop’ between blogs following a chain of links, with each blog in the chain posting something exciting for the event!

If you've come from visiting Toni at Happy Scrapper, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to Kathryn at Creations with Kathryn and start at the beginning.

With so many of us getting bad weather and a ton of snow it is hard to imagine that Winter will ever be over. But, with Punxsutawney Phil seeing his shadow there is a sliver of hope that Spring will eventually come, and may even be earlier than we thought. However, if you just can’t wait another 6 weeks then I hope that I can bring a little of that Spring feeling to you now.

Recipe:
Playtime for Little Girl (4")
Doodlecharms for Flower (3.5")
Birthday Bash Font for Title and Shadow (1.5")
Plantin Schoolbook for Frames (6.25"x4.25", 6.5"x4.5")

Patterned Paper is DCWV Ultimate Stack (Spring)
Cardstock is Bazzill Basics
Hope that you liked my little piece of Spring. And if you did, leave a comment and follow me and I will pick one of those lovely comments Wednesday the 9th and that person will receive a $15 gift certificate to their favorite little spot (store) on the web. As long as they do online gift certificates I will get you one.

Ruff Day...

Recently, my Aunt found out that her doggy's cancer might be back. Very sad. She's already gone through it once and came out healthy on the other end, although she did lose an eye. But, she's such a sweet dog and I feel so bad that she may have to go through all of that all over again. So, I whipped up a quick card for both of them to let them know that we are thinking about them.

Thank You to My Mom

My mom is wonderful. She is so helpful whenever, whatever I need. So, when she said that she had to run to Hallmark to pick up a Thank You card for someone I knew that I wanted to make her some of her own Thank You cards to use. I put her initials on the front using the Cindy Loo cartridge. I think that it turned out simple, but fabulous!

Thank Ewe

Recently my daughter had her 3rd birthday party and I wanted to make a special thank you card for one of her new little friends. It's actually my son's best friends little sister. Recently, they have all started to have playdates and have gotten along so good. Well, their mom was very due for her 3rd baby and she still managed to get a present and get them to our house, on time (half my old friends can't do that), so that they could play and share her birthday. So, I wanted to make them a special home made "Thank Ewe" car.

A New Baby

Our neighbors next door had a new baby a couple of weeks ago, and I wanted a card to go along with the cute clothes that I got them as a gift. I used the new B is for Boy Lite cartridge. I love this cartridge. It is great for Babies, Toddlers, Big Kids, all ages really. Even grown-ups!
ENJOY!

Happy 1st Birthday Avery! and Some Cards

This weekend was my neice's 1st Birthday Party. Her bedding and accessories are ladybug's so I thought that the Ladybug from Create a Critter would look so cute as a card for her. I didn't just cut it out though, I used my Gypsy to weld it together and made a shaped card out of it. It turned out so good...she didn't want anyone to take it away from her.

I also made a card for my mother-in-law to give her. She is really starting to get into Dora so I created a Dora card from Everyday Paper Dolls. I also used the Create a Critter cart to make a monkey, somewhat like Boots the Monkey. It doesn't look exactly like Boots, but it was my versions...my daughter knew who it was and she LOVES Dora, so I did my job.

Thank for looking! Hope you enjoy!
