Isn't It Amazing...

how we can have the best of intentions and it just not end up going anywhere, because somehow life just gets in the way. Well, that's what my life has been like lately.

I planned on doing a Christmas card every day and I have completed quite a few and have several more half done, but when it comes to actually taking pictures of them and getting them up for all of you lovely people to see, well that's another story. With all the events that have gone on lately, with Halloween, dance, and Cub Scouts, well, my camera is quite full.

On top of that my kids have both had colds in the last week that have prevented me from getting a whole lot done. I did get a few errands done yesterday, but still have some "household" things to get done. Plus now, I'm sick! My throat is hurting me and my nose is all stuffed up. Which, for a pregnant women who is not sleeping well as it is, does not add to my energy reserve.

Anyway, I am hoping to get some much needed me time today, since the kids are home for election day, and get some more done including putting some of my Christmas cards up for you to see.

Until then, here are some cards and projects from last year to get you in the Christmas mood.

Have a Wonderful Day!!

Christmas Countdown

Can you believe it? Only 52 days till Christmas! Now, this has a double meaning for me, because by the time Christmas gets here I will have barely any time left till I am due with this wonderful little girl! Holy cow!!

So, as I said in my post from the other day, I am going to try to make a Christmas Card everyday this month, so that way I should have all my Christmas Cards done by the end of the month. Now, the last couple of days got real busy, because I had to do some running around for things for my sister-in-law and my new little nephew. But, this morning I have lots of other stuff that I could be doing nothing to do, so I am going to work on some cards that I have been planning out.

So, what does that mean for you guys? Hopefully, a few posts this morning from me!

Also, I am using some planning pages for my Christmas Card and gift giving organization and wanted to let you know where you can find them, because they are great. So go to Organized Chritmas and you will find tons of stuff to help you get your holidays in order.

Happy Halloween

Hi! Hope that everyone had a Happy Halloween! With my kiddoes being 6 and 4, Halloween is SUPER fun in my house! We had two school parties, Zoo Boo at the Detroit Zoo, and trick-or-treating around the neighborhood last night. Here are some fun pictures,

So, with Halloween out of the way it is time to start thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas and with the latter comes Christmas cards. And since I am due shortly after Christmas I have decided to try and do at least 1 Christmas card a day and that means a post everyday for you guys.

Unfortunately, it won't start till tomorrow, since I decided this today. I have some great cards already planned and waiting to be put together, so please come back tomorrow for some great Christmasy ideas!

Oh, and a Baby Boy card coming soon, since my sister and brother-in-law welcomed a little boy, Cruz, this morning at 6:24 am, joining my niece Avery!

Hope everyone has a very creative day!

Little Girl's First Day of Preschool

So, my little girl started preschool today and I'm a little sad. Don't get me wrong it's nice to have time to get stuff done by myself and I know that she is having a great time, but I can't believe that both of my kids are in school at some point during the week. Oh well, enough of the pity party.

I did learn something today...I am really bad at time management. I thought, "Wow, 3 hours all to myself. I am going to get so much done." WRONG! At 10:30 I realised that all I did was sort the laundry, put one load in, eat breakfast, and make a bigger mess with the paperwork that I was planning on organizing then when I started. How in the world did that happen. So, now (11:05) I have 10 minutes before I have to leave to pick up my daughter and I didn't do the one big thing that I should have and that is go and get her birthday present for tomorrow.

So, my question for all of you is this...How do you get yourself organized when your kids go back to school? Do you have a schedule? A list every morning? I would love to hear what your plan is. Leave me a comment and I will read it and visit your blog if you have one!

While I wait, here are some pictures of my kids from this morning.

Back to School and a Routine

Well, today was my oldest's first day of 1st grade and he did great! I didn't cry which I was very proud of! He is going to a different school this year...one closest to our house and luckily he knew a couple of kids in his class from T-Ball this summer. I still have my little one home, until next week when she will be going to Preschool 3 half days a week.

What am I going to do with all that time? I'll tell you what! Get my house in order, prepare for the new little one coming in January, and actually have a routine! There are so many things that I want to get done before thist little one comes and I am determined to do it. Maybe it's my nesting coming early, we can only hope.

Don't worry I will post everything here and if anyone else is getting organized too I would love to hear from you! In the meantime, here are some pictures from the first day of school!

I'm Back with Some News

Please head over to my new blog, where I will be posting exclusively now.

I have some FABULOUS news!

I'm Back with Some News

Hey Everyone! I really appreciate everyone who has stuck with my blog through the almost 5 months that I have been completely absent. I promise that it was not because I gave up my love for crafts though or that I haven't checked in every now and again to all of your fabulous blogs. In fact is was for a very good reason.

As of yesterday I am 21 weeks pregnant with my third blessing!

The first several months have been a very big adjustment for everyone in the family. It started with the usual morning sickness and wanting to spend as much time with my son and daughter, while they are home on summer break, as possible.

Now that I am starting to feel better (except for the fall allergies that have suddenly made an appearance) and the kids are going back to school next week I have had a yearning to get back into the crafts and home improvements that I so thoroughly enjoy.

So, hopefully in the coming weeks there will be a lot more posts involving this new baby GIRL's scrapbook, along with her room renovation, and my two other little one's room adjustments. I hope that I haven't lost too many of you (or any of you) and that you will follow me along one this new exciting journey to expanding our family!
