His and Hers

I have recently finished my first paid job. I am so excited! I have done a lot of invitations and cards before for people, but I just created 70 bridal shower invitations for a coworker of my husband.

She is getting married in a few months and is having her bridal shower in June. I used my cricut and created the His and Hers Towels from the Sweethearts cartridge, on page 68. The bride wanted a black and white theme, but loves sunflowers, so I added a touch of yellow to the cards.

I cut each towel and the layers out at 4". I also used DCWV background paper from.... The card is 6.5" x 5". Not all the background papers were the same, because I couldn't find patterned paper in the amount that I needed, but I think that the different patterns made for a fun change. There were 9 of each pattern, for a total of 70 total cards.

I am going to be selling my invitations and cards on Etsy now, so I hope that you will come by and check out what I am offering. I will also be doing custom orders, just e-mail me with what you want and I will work with you.

Thanks for stopping by and checking my invitations out! Now for some pictures!!

Dora Invitation

So, my sweet little neice Peyton's 2nd birthday is coming up next month and I volunteered to do her invitations for her party. I have done her Baby Shower Invitations, and her first birthday invitations, so I thought it only fitting to continue the tradition and do her 2nd birthday. She likes Dora, so I decided to add Dora and Boots onto the invites. However, as many of you know there is no Dora cartridge (yet! anytime PC). So, I used a combination of Paper Dolls for Everyday, Paper Doll Dress Up, and Create a Critter and my own freehand face to create them. I printed out the actual invitation on white cardstock using Word and a Text Box. Enjoy!!

Recipe:
Body, Hair, Shorts, Shirt, and Shoes cut @ 3.5" from Everyday Paper Dolls
Hair cut @ 3.5" from Paper Doll Dress Up
Boots cut @ 1.5" from Create A Critter
Boots boots cut @ 1" from Everyday Paper Dolls
Cardstock is Recollections and Bazill Basics
Patterned Paper is DCWV
Dora's Face I used brown and red colored pencil, a black pen, and my white gel pen

Invitation Paper Sizes are:
3.5"x4" (text box size)
4"x4.5" (patterned paper)
4.5"x5.5" (cardstock)

Your Input

Good Morning Everyone. Today I want to try and get everyone's input on something. If you had to give one tip on how you stay organized or "on schedule" with every day things, what would it be?

With a new baby, an old houes to pack up, and a new house to organize these are the things that are on my mind lately.

So, if you have a tip, any tip, that you use daily then let me know and the best ones I will post in a post another day. I look forward to all the wonderful ideas that I know all you bloggers have!!

Update!

Hey Everyone! Wow, I haven't posted in a really long time, I know. We have been really busy here with a new baby and another huge change coming to our household. We are going to be moving! We are so excited. This house was getting a little too small for us, with three kids, two adults, and two cats in less than 1200 square feet. We are going to be building a house and it should be ready the beginning of June. Yes, that soon! Plus, I will have a nice area in our new basement for all my scrap stuff, I am so excited to have a nice space all to myself!

Anyway, I still have some projects that I hope to get posted soon, as well as some that are in the works that I will hopefully also be able to get posted.

So, until I get everything posted that I want, here is a picture of me and my three little kiddoes and our new house...well, at least the basement! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

We Made It A Week - Pictures Included!

Here are some pictures of our precious new bundle at a week old. She is a great baby, already sleeping up to 3-4 hours at a time at night. It's taking some time to adjust, but we are getting there.

So, now here is what you all have been waiting for...pictures!!

She is beautiful if I do say so myself. She is a great combination of my son and my daughter when they were born.

I'm Now A Momma of 3!

Hey Everyone! Wanted to check in real quick and let you know that I had my baby girl on Tuesday. It was a quick labor, only 1 1/2 hours of active labor. She was born at 1:46 pm on the 3rd of January and was 6 lbs 11 oz and 19 inches long. She is beautiful and we are all in love with her including her big brother and big sister! I will try and post some pictures later, we definitely are not short on those, I just haven't had a chance to load them onto the computer yet.

I am so excited to get back to scrapping, especially for our new bundle of joy. It probably won't be anytime soon, but as soon as I get into a routine you better believe I will be back in my scrap room!

Till then I am still keeping up on all of your wonderful blogs!

This one is for her to put my daughters pictures in. She is definitely a princess, so this suits her. If you would like to see the one that I made for my neice you can go here Big Girl, or the one for my son you can go here Here Comes Trouble. Enjoy!
