The other day my kids and I were looking at my son's scrapbook from his first year that I had diligently finished before his first birthday party, so that everyone could see all the milestones my precious firstborn had made. Then, my worst nightmare came true. My daughter said, "Mommy can I see mine..." dun, dun, dun...yes I actually heard that in my head. It's not that she didn't have one or that it was empty, it just wasn't full, it barely had like 6-8 pages in it. Luckily for me she doesn't quite understand the difference between full and...mommy dropped the ball. So, she was more than happy to look at her 8 pages over and over with pure excitement. Anyway, from then on I have been determined to get her first year done and I have been working on it as much as time allows. I finally got one of her birthday layouts completed to my satisfaction yesterday, so I wanted to get the post up so that you guys knew that I was still here and still creating. So, enough chit chat on with the pictures...
Recipe:
Once Upon a Princess Cricut Cartridge for the Castle, Princess, Frog Prince, Crown, Clouds, and Happy Birthday
DCWV "The Whimsy" Background Paper
Bazill Basics Cardstock for all the other colored paper
I also used my colored pencils to add a few things to the princess and clouds, as well as some buttons I had lying around on the tops of the castle towers.
Hope you enjoy! And thanks for taking a peek! (And reading my rambling)
