Mini Monsters

As soon as the Mini Monsters cart was announced I knew that it would be a perfect addition to my collection. I have two small children so Halloween is a huge time of year at my house. I absolutely love the titles and the little monsters, but I was also glad that they added in some other images as well, such as the house, trees, and signs. I loved the way that this layout turned out. I actually used Christmas paper for the background accent at the top, but I don't think that you can tell. I hope that you enjoy!

Udderly Amazing!

Here are some cards that I made for work. I put them together pretty quickly and I think that they turned out pretty nicely.

Pretty Princess' First Birthday

The other day my kids and I were looking at my son's scrapbook from his first year that I had diligently finished before his first birthday party, so that everyone could see all the milestones my precious firstborn had made. Then, my worst nightmare came true. My daughter said, "Mommy can I see mine..." dun, dun, dun...yes I actually heard that in my head. It's not that she didn't have one or that it was empty, it just wasn't full, it barely had like 6-8 pages in it. Luckily for me she doesn't quite understand the difference between full and...mommy dropped the ball. So, she was more than happy to look at her 8 pages over and over with pure excitement. Anyway, from then on I have been determined to get her first year done and I have been working on it as much as time allows. I finally got one of her birthday layouts completed to my satisfaction yesterday, so I wanted to get the post up so that you guys knew that I was still here and still creating. So, enough chit chat on with the pictures...

Recipe:
Once Upon a Princess Cricut Cartridge for the Castle, Princess, Frog Prince, Crown, Clouds, and Happy Birthday
DCWV "The Whimsy" Background Paper
Bazill Basics Cardstock for all the other colored paper

I also used my colored pencils to add a few things to the princess and clouds, as well as some buttons I had lying around on the tops of the castle towers.

Hope you enjoy! And thanks for taking a peek! (And reading my rambling)

Teacher Appreciation Gift

So, for my son's Preschool teacher I decided to do a little scrapbook for her from all of the students. She had said that she was going to be doing Memory Books for the kids and I thought, "She should get one too." So, I took a 11x11 spiral scrapbook that I had, sent home little cards that I made with my Cricut and my Cricut markers to all the students, and used my Everday and Dress Up Paper Dolls catridges to whip up this book. It took a little longer to do then I thought, but it was worth it. She was a great teacher and my son truly adored her. Next years class is very lucky!

Here is the title page:

This is what each of the students pages looked like. I don't want to post all of them, because I don't have permission from the parents. But, you get the picture.

I think that overall it turned out lovely and she really like it! Thank you Mrs. Mendelson, you made this year extra special!

MIA...

Sorry that I have been MIA lately everyone. I have been hard at work making a mini scrapbook for my son's Preschool Teacher. It is hopefully going to be fabulous. I really liked his teacher this year and thought that she was wonderful, so she deserved something special! Anyway, pictures to follow in the next couple of days. I also have two Layouts to share also. Posting soon!
