Sweet Shop Blog Hop! with the Cooking with Cricut DT - DAY 1

Welcome to Croppin Momma Designs and the CookingwithCricut.com Sweet Shop Blog Hop! If you’ve never enjoyed a blog hop before, it’s where you ‘hop’ between blogs following a chain of links, with each blog in the chain posting something exciting for the event! There will even be some great blog candy to win along the way! More on that in a moment!

If you've come from visiting Michelle at Purple Monkey Moments, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to CookingWithCricut.com and start at the beginning. Go HERE.

With Valentine’s Day just a few days away we are sharing some wonderful ideas and inspiration for your viewing and crafting pleasure! Each Design Team member will be featuring an original project each day (Saturday & Sunday) made especially for this hop. Make sure to check out each DT member's blog and collect the special letter there. There will be prizes along the way at our DT members' blogs, AND there will be some nice PRIZES with a few different ways to win at CookingWithCricut.com!

So without further ado, here is my Valentine Banner...

Here's what you'll need to make it:
Birthday Bash (Banner)
Cindy Loo (Font and Shadow)
Sweethearts (All Black Images)
Plantin Schoolbook or other comparable (Circles and Heart)
(Little Tip: I used the top layer of the "O" from Ciny Loo and "Hide" the "O" part and layered it on top of the Heart and welded them to make the same effect.)

So, onto the prizes!! At each of the stops along the way the DT members will be giving away one of Melin's fabulous cutting files and/or digi stamps. Here is the one that I will be giving away:

Beautiful isn't it!

So, what do you have to do to win this fabulous prize? Just leave a comment under this post with a way to get a hold of you! That's it! I will draw a name on Monday! Remember leave a comment on both days posts for 2 chances to win!

Here is the “secret” letter you need to collect to be eligible for a prize package at CookingWithCricut.com...L

Now it's your turn! Let’s see your sweet Valentine projects. Be sure to include a Cricut or other die cut machine cut on your project and link it up at CookingWithCricut.com. The Design Team will pick their three favorites and one lucky sweetheart will be chosen randomly to win one of the six prize packages being offered in this hop.

Next stop... Raven at Love 4 Stamps. Go see what she has in store for you today.
And don’t forget, when you're done, make sure to head back to CookingWithCricut.com and get entered to win one of SIX prize packages! Here’s how:

1. Link your sweet Valentine project and be one of the top three chosen by our Chefs.
2. Link your project and be the randomly drawn winner.
3. Collect all the letters and unscramble our “secret” phrase correctly and leave it in the special comment section on CookingWithCricut.com.

Awesome layout! I love the little girl jumping rope ~ it was my favorite thing to do as a little girl. I would be out there for hours.

Thanks again everyone!!

Cooking with Cricut DT Project

Good Morning! Hope that everyone's day started out fabulously (is that a word?).

This week for the Cooking with Cricut Design Team our challenge was to make something with hearts or flowers, something for our beloved! Now, strep is going around our house and so is a constant ear infection/cold/just plain crappy feeling, so it has taken all my energy just to roll out of bed and take care of my little ones that probably feel worse than I do. This never ending Winter doesn't help the mood.

Anyway, I wanted to show you that you can whip up a fabulous looking card without spending a million hours on it. This took me prep time of about 15 minutes and then another 15 putting it all together (probably wouldn't have taken as long if I felt better).

Recipe:
Hearts from Sweethearts Cartridge cut at 4.5"
DCWV La Creme Cardstock Stack
Michaels $1 Bin Ribbon

So, I hope that you enjoyed it and I hope that you come on over and join the fun at Cooking with Cricut, even if it's a quick project!

Mix It Up

If you hopped with me on Saturday then you saw my "Spring Fever" layout. If not, then you can go HERE to see it. Well, with all the bright pinky colors I thought that it would go perfectly in my daughter's scrapbook. However, I wanted to make sure that I had a similar one for my son's scrapbook also. So, I made the same layout, just switched it up a little bit. Hope you enjoy it!

Think Spring Blog Hop

Welcome to Croppin Momma Designs and the Think Spring Blog Hop! If you’ve never enjoyed a blog hop before, it’s where you ‘hop’ between blogs following a chain of links, with each blog in the chain posting something exciting for the event!

If you've come from visiting Toni at Happy Scrapper, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to Kathryn at Creations with Kathryn and start at the beginning.

With so many of us getting bad weather and a ton of snow it is hard to imagine that Winter will ever be over. But, with Punxsutawney Phil seeing his shadow there is a sliver of hope that Spring will eventually come, and may even be earlier than we thought. However, if you just can’t wait another 6 weeks then I hope that I can bring a little of that Spring feeling to you now.

Recipe:
Playtime for Little Girl (4")
Doodlecharms for Flower (3.5")
Birthday Bash Font for Title and Shadow (1.5")
Plantin Schoolbook for Frames (6.25"x4.25", 6.5"x4.5")
New Martha Stewart Scallop Heart Border Punch
Martha Stewart Glitter Glue
Patterned Paper is DCWV Ultimate Stack (Spring)
Cardstock is Bazzill Basics
Hope that you liked my little piece of Spring. And if you did, leave a comment and follow me and I will pick one of those lovely comments Wednesday the 9th and that person will receive a $15 gift certificate to their favorite little spot (store) on the web. As long as they do online gift certificates I will get you one.

Next stop... Sarah at Scrapping with Sarah. Go see what she has in store for you today.
